Pirate Life is part live performance, part boat cruise, and all-out fun. Our crew of actors guides you through an interactive story filled with cannon blasts, secret maps, and sea shanties. It’s the ultimate family-friendly adventure—right on the water.

Scouts, campers, crews from the office or the classroom—gather yer gang and join in. We’ll chart a course for fun, teamwork, and tales they’ll tell long after the voyage ends.

A Pirate’s Life for Ye
Choose Yer Port & Set the Date
Pick the Pirate Life location nearest ye, mark the date, and ready yer crew for a high-seas (or high-shore) adventure.
Join the Crew On Land or at Sea
Each swashbucklin’ experience runs for 1.5 hours
30 minutes of pre-show fun with pirate names, face paint, and crew warm-ups
1 hour of live-action storytelling, treasure hunts, and cannon-blasting excitement
Step 3: Dive into the Tale
With cursed maps, daring escapades, and a few soaked scallywags, yer crew will be swept up in a tale of adventure and laughter.
Step 4: Make Memories Worth Their Weight in Gold
Perfect for little buccaneers, seasoned sailors, and landlubbers of all ages. Every moment is crafted for connection, fun, and a hearty “ARRR!”

Pirate Life Theatre is a children’s theatre company that creates family friendly pirate-themed shows in Toronto, Ottawa, Barrie, and Hamilton. We encourage our patrons to live a pirate’s life by presenting interactive theatrical productions in which you can join our crew and help us search for treasure, fire the water cannons, witness a sword fight and more! Our production is part theatre, part cruise, and all adventure.

We sail rain or shine, so please dress appropriately. In the event of dangerous weather, the Captain will make a judgement call the morning of and if necessary reschedule the departures at no added cost to you.

We have a maximum capacity of 40 guests, as well as 1 captain and 2 crew members. If your group is larger than 40 we can accommodate you with several departures and more on shore entertainment.

Our adventures are 1.5 hours, including 30 minutes of onshore activities including face paint, pirate names and games, and a 1 hour cruise aboard the vessel.
